Hairy Vetch
Ideal for Northern AreasPetite blue flowers appear in midsummer and lure bees and
butterflies to the area. This useful yet lovely cover crop grows
2-3 ft. tall and chokes out even the toughest weeds. Great for
soil enrichment and erosion control. Easy to grow; vigorous in
cooler areas. Best with an inoculant. Plant at a rate of 1 to 2
lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft.
